i simply enjoy making beautiful things that solve problems
Hi, I'm Dustin — a Cornell student exploring the intersections of product design and architecture.
Growing up as an immigrant in the diverse urban fabric of Vancouver, navigating the everyday fascinated me. I noticed subtleties — from how spaces guided me without words, to how navigation apps quietly rerouted when I missed a turn. This curiosity led me to architecture, where I learned that the best design is often subtle, and where I developed my sense of human empathy.
Always curious about different mediums of creation, product design began as a hobby for me in university. I found it to be a medium where I could balance aesthetics and function at the most accessible scale, and after a summer-long project with a few friends, I never looked back.
With a background in visual art, architecture, and an obsessive knack for detail, I hope to bring a unique perspective to digital experiences — one that fosters accessibility, real-world empathy, and untangles the happy messes of everyday human experiences.
